LASER INFORMATION



At Sydney Laser Tattoo we use the best laser technology, medical grade Quanta Q-plus C, Q-switched Laser Machine.


The Q plus C laser delivers a high peak power laser beam in pulses that last a billionth of a second which target tattoo pigments and break the ink particles into smaller fragments. The small particles are then removed by your lymphatic system.


The Quanta Q plus C Q-Switched laser is the most effective laser to remove tattoos of all colours because it has three wavelength technology. Different laser wavelengths are needed to remove different colors of tattoo ink. We use Nd:Yag 1064nm (for blacks and dark colours), 532nm (for red ink and other warm-toned colors, including violet, orange, yellow, and brown) and Ruby Laser 694nm (for green and blue pigments).

3 WAVELENGTHS



The Quanta Q-plus C is the only true three wavelength machine that will target all tattoo colours.


These wavelengths are Nd:Yag 1064nm, 532nm, and Ruby 694nm.



Q-SWITCHED



A quality-switched laser is a

non-invasive laser that creates high-intensity pulsed beam light. The energy emitted is concentrated into very powerful pulses that last a billionth of a second. These pulses shatter the ink particles into tiny fragments.



FLAT TOP OPTIBEAM



Flat top OptiBeam technology means the energy of the laser is distributed homogeneously over the treated area. The beam is square which eliminates the laser pulse from overlapping. This feature enables safer and more effective treatments.

With the Cryo 6 we can apply cool air to the treatment area to help minimize pain and thermal injury during laser treatments.


Unlike other cooling methods, such as contact cooling, cryogen spray or ice packs, the Cryo 6 can cool the epidermis before, during and after the laser energy has been applied, without interfering with the laser beam.


We cool the treatment area before, during and after the laser treatment. This makes the experience more comfortable, minimises swelling and allows faster recovery.


Studies have also shown that chilling with the Cryo 6 cold air device reduces pain sensitivity. This means much better tolerance of the treatment.
